Park Place Church has a long and rich history which began with its inception in October of 1949 as Pinellas Park Wesleyan Church. Over the course of 70 years, Park Place Church, has grown into one of the largest Wesleyan churches in the State of Florida.
Our Mission...
The Mission of Park Place Church is to help people find and fulfill God’s purpose for living. We desire to be a place where every person is unconditionally accepted while learning to grow as a disciple of Christ. We believe that some people who worship with us simply need to “belong” before they “believe” the Gospel message. Therefore, we strive to reach people by meeting the heartfelt needs of the community. Once people have joined our fellowship, we help them understand the importance of salvation, worship, discipleship and personal evangelism.
Our Vision..
Our Vision at Park Place Church is to be a place where Love Works. We believe that loving Jesus and serving Jesus leads to fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives. We desire to be a people who “Love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind and spirit and to love our neighbor as ourselves”. In doing so, we fulfill the two greatest commandments as taught by Jesus in Mark 12:30-31.
What we believe...
- We believe in one God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all who put their faith in him alone for eternal life.
- We believe in the Bible and its sufficiency to establish our faith and conduct.
- We believe God's will for people everywhere is to know him and be made new in Christ.
- We believe that the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth, and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness and loving deeds.
- Additionally, we choose to stand on Biblical Authority, Grow in Christlikeness, Make Disciples, and Lead through Service to others.
